One of the great treats in using Twitter is following some really creative educators and administrators from around the globe. One such Twitter friend that I follow is Tom Barrett (@TomBarrett) from Nottingham, England.
He has on his blog a set of great ideas and methods for getting to know your students when school begins (my school starts August 1st)...and just using one of these creative ideas is well worth the time if it will bring the students closer and unified at the beginning of the school year, rather than wonder who that new person in the room is; or just what music does Mr. Don listen to?
