Track Your Common Core Lessons

Need to track when you taught the common core domain and strands?  Here is a great website that has forms  you can download and use or if you are a Google Docs user you can save in Google Docs and edit them there.

Here's a brief summary from the website:
"you need to help you keep track of the standards taught in your classroom.  Use these to make sure you are addressing all that you need to teach throughout the course of the school year.   Keep track of when you have introduced, retaught and assessed each indicator."

Here's the link:

The website has other great information and resources, too. This one just was so great I had to share.

Online Reading Websites...

Some free Listen to Reading websites we use are:

Barnes & Noble Online Storytime
Read to Me
Storyline Online
RIF Reading Planet

These are great for rotation centers, for enrichment for K/1 or Special Needs students. They are easy to navigate and take little time from the teacher.

I would recommend, however, that a "shortcut" for each link be created so the students can double click and go.
