You cannot make a student learn, just like you cannot make a flower grow or bloom.
But the one thing we can do as teachers is to provide the environment (compassion, encouragement, motivation, nurturing, watering, pruning, etc.) that will allow both the student and the flower to blossom at their own rate and in their own way.
